Aggression, barking, chewing, digging, fear, anxiety?

Kickstarter packages jump-start behavioral modification of aggression, barking, chewing, digging, fear, and anxiety under expert guidance. Each package is tailored specifically for you and your pet and designed to give you all the information and skills you need to start to address your particular behavioral issues. Whether the issue is aggression, barking, chewing, digging, fear, anxiety, separation anxiety, or something worse, I’m here to help.

Each package includes an initial consultation and follow-up sessions. Many behavioral issues however require further consultations to modify or resolve. At the end of your Kickstarter package, we will discuss progress and whether further sessions are beneficial or necessary. I offer clients further 1-hour sessions at the reduced cost of $105 per hour for the evaluated pet.

If you are unsure which Kickstarter Package is better for your dog please email petsdecoded@gmail.com with specific questions. Otherwise, you can book a consultation using the online Behavioral Calendar.

BEHAVIORAL consultations are available Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am or 4 pm for NEW clients.

*** BEWARE THE FALLACY OF BEHAVIORAL CHANGE
There is no magic bullet or quick fixes in behavioral modification for aggression, barking, chewing, digging, fear, or anxiety. There should be no given guarantees that a pet’s behavior is going to be ‘fixed’ or will match unrealistic expectations. As with your own behavioral habits that you want to change, behavioral modification requires work, consistency, dedication, and effort from YOU. The longer your pet has rehearsed the negative behavior or the older your pet is at the time you seek professional help, the longer your work and the modification journey is likely to take, but most behavior can usually be improved to some extent. Behavioral modification can take weeks (e.g., barking, leash-pulling, counter surfing, etc.), months (e.g., reactivity) or perhaps even years (e.g., fear and anxiety disorders) to see significant progress. Success rarely is a complete transformation. Rather, success is measured in the small incremental breakthroughs in a positive direction that you can have with your pet.
