Always look for a behaviorist, behavior consultant, or dog trainer that has a high level of expertise (CAAB, AVSAB, Ph.D., APDT, CPDT-KA), are insured, and a member of a recognized, professional behavioral organization, which can provide a list of qualified professionals in your area such as:
